I've been writing for as long as I can remember...

Growing up in Aurora, Colorado, I was that little girl who always had a journal in hand, scribbling down thoughts, jokes, and stories that were probably only funny to me. I wasn’t the next Shakespeare, but I had a knack for putting words together in a way that made sense (most of the time). Writing was my thing, even if I didn’t know what to do with it yet. 

 I’ve learned to fall in love with the beautiful chaos of messy, unfiltered first drafts—piling them up with reckless abandon, as fast as my mind can spin them and my hard drive can hold them. There's magic in the mess. Then comes the real joy: watching those scattered words carve their own unexpected, often breathtaking path. In the end, the transformation—both on the page and in my own heart—is nothing short of extraordinary.
